Prophecy Against the Nations I

China is going through a difficult time. It is like the USSR used to be in that the territories it has taken from others over a period, contain people that have never forgotten that they used to be independent. Tibet is the famous one, but China also has issues with Taiwan and the Xinjiang province. In the Prophecy Against the Nations (Part I), I talk about China settling down in that they will not have the time or resources to cause trouble in the world, because they have their own difficulties within their own territories. This also means that they will need to deal with troublesome people who wish to get Independence or other issues. And it is the way they deal with this which is important, because no-one wants either another Tienanmen Square. In 2003 I wrote this:

'Russia will make efforts to re-establish its old order as a superpower but will not succeed in its efforts with a surprising stand from China in support of America. But China will reach a grand equilibrium and will remain neutral throughout. China will move into a period of great restraint and internal balance, and will seek to address its own domestic issues as a priority.'

The first thing has happened already, when Russia invaded Georgia during the Chinese Olympics. China has turned to America as a source of income in recent years, however, American and Chinese warships are still playing chicken with each other in the South China Sea. Thirdly will China reach a 'great equilibrium'? I feel that this part of the prediction probably stems from a kind of Chinese philosophical stereotype. The third prediction is that China will have to address its own 'domestic issues', which includes the earthquakes which devastated parts of China a couple of years ago. So again I read some things correctly...

Tsunami

One of the reasons I set up this website was to collect other peoples dreams, to see if collectively people could see the same event coming. The Indonesian Tsunami in 2004, shocked the world. It was the first time in modern history (that is 20th and 21st Century) that we have witnessed an event on this scale, which involved a Tsunami, caused by an earthquake. Not many of these types of events occur. I wouldn't like to speculate how frequent they are. But in the few dreams I have had submitted to the site, four out of five dreamers have reported dreams of a Tsunami. However, because the 2004 event was so unusual and so large, I am guessed it has entered peoples consciousness for quite a few years to come. It may even become the most popular precognitive dream, taking over from plane crashes. I too had the following dream way back in 2003, before the 2004 Tsunami:

53. Dream/Hypnagogic Vision 18/02/03 – ‘Concrete Stilts’ (Flooding Dream 1).

I saw a lot of houses where the downstairs areas had been converted to allow for extreme flooding. Upstairs held the living areas and downstairs was on concrete stilts, where many people kept a boat of some kind. Some people had been cast out from society and were sent up into the hills to die. As they gathered there, I saw a massive Tsunami, which had within it a dark pulse moving across the land, in water which demolished the houses on stilts, while the outcasts remained safe on the hills. Many people died.

I saw this as a prediction of the 2004 event at when it happened the following year. But now I am not so sure. The reason is that in the dream it happened here in the UK and it has troubled me for some time that the UK is one of the most vulnerable nations on earth, threatened by both sea level rises and the tipping of the whole island, either in the South East during hot periods, or the North during icy periods. If sea levels continue to rise, it is quite possible that much of the UK will be under water, leaving only a series of random islands, scattered throughout the original territory. The natural history of the island supports this, with connecting land masses to Europe during dry periods and large glaciers covering more than half of the island during glacial periods. Although it is scary to think of the UK being under such a great threat, these events are both rare and slow moving. But man-made climate change may change all that, on this occasion.

I Could Be Wrong: I hope I'm Not

Iran is falling into chaos as the Ayatollah attempts to regain control of his country and amid the protests stalks an all too familiar beast. That of an absolute ruler cracking down hard on those who want something as simple as freedom, but as complicated as removing a heavily dug in dictator with no intentions of allowing true freedom to spread. It makes me heavy hearted and disappointed when these people just will not allow normally to creep in. And in this case the hypocrisy is enormous. This man who claims to be a revolutionary, fighting for freedom from the Shah, only to claw it back once in power. This is the true character of the Ayatollah. Its like an innocent girl marrying a man she falls in love with, who charmed her and treated her like a princess, only for him to change the minute the door is closed on their marital home. Then his true colours show. His depraved violence shows itself. It also makes me wonder whether any of the election results in the history of the revolution have ever been real. Perhaps they always rig them and this is the first time they've been caught? Whatever happens I think that a normal controlled dispersal of these troublesome crowds, and an annulment of the election should suffice to get these disputes settled. But I fear this won't happen. And the consequences for the ring leaders and anyone else who hits Ayatollah Khamenei's radar after these protests have died down are in serious trouble. There will be torture, imprisonment and death for anyone involved. I feel that these brave people are the true hero's of the world right now. They march knowing what their leaders are capable of and yet they do it anyway.

But what does it say about my prediction? I never really claimed to have powers. What I know is that I see the occasional event ahead of time and wonder why and how. In the Prophecy Against the Nations pieces (I & II), I wanted to experiment, to see if instinct and a little knowledge could achieve the same results. We wait and see...

Protest in the Arab World

As mentioned before, I made a series of predictions called 'Prophecy Against the Nations' back in 2003. One of these predictions was the following:

"The Arab world will continue on a straight path, neither progressing nor regressing, but will see increased resistance to its violent system of law and order. It will also see a small but significant period of organised peaceful protest from its Islamic constituents which the leadership will tolerate."

Recent events in Iran concur with this, despite limited violence. I also wrote a second piece called 'Prophecy Against the Nations II', (on this blog - dated 17th February 2009) which stated:

"Israel will struggle to hold court in the UN as leaders from around the globe turn their backs on them because of their human rights violations against Palestine. Israel’s future will be uncertain and will eventually, after many years end unsuccessfully as Jews from around the world, especially America will return to their country of origin. Falling tax revenues and less support for its arms aid programs by the US will mean it is less and less able to defend itself against aggressive neighbours."

The early signs of the tide of opinion shifting against Israel are there. America has now made it okay to speak to Israel's enemies and the world is responding, with several European countries sending envoys and diplomats to speak to Hamas. That's not to say that this is a temporary thing. It can only really last for the eight year maximum reign of Obama. The next president may or may not adopt a peace making and dialogue based approach to the Arab world - or at least those who openly oppose Israel and its leaders.

North Korea Up to Old Tricks Again.

If you read the news you'll know what's going on in North Korea right now. And if you've read my stuff on http://www.premonitionweb.com then you'll know what I saw in dreams. A new war with North Korea. It is also noteworthy that a friend of mine now lives in South Korea with his wife. So I now have an emotional connection with Korea. It also has to be said that when I had the dreams a few years ago, my friend had already met his South Korean wife, although they lived in the UK for a few years and only moved out there last year. So was I dreaming about Korea because a) I worried a lot about the plight of the poor in North Korea and the appalling regime there and b) my friend is Korean? It is possible that those dreams came about because of my personal interest in the country. However, I had two visions of my friend at around the same time. The first one was of him arguing with a group of people. A few weeks later he described something that happened to him and it followed the exact same series of events down to the words he said in the argument. In the second vision I saw him killed by a massive fire storm, with his face burning away to his skull followed by complete bodily disintegration via what could only be described as a nuclear bomb, or at least a very large intense explosion. He then reported back to me his own dreams on the subject. He said he saw himself in an explosion, but he was safe within a bubble, or a shield, while his wife perished. So there is a cross over of visions and dreams that could be related to the same event. However, dreams of dying and of explosions should be very common given modern film and television and their obsession with extreme and fictional violence (war films and so on). Also, people do dream about their friends and family getting hurt all the time. Whether these cross over dreams will ever be verified I don't know. But if they are not precognitive dreams then I think I will be relieved, as will everyone else.

A New Dimension.

Nicole from Canada read the last entry and said she did have an emotional connection with Mexico. This is why I set up the site. To pull in good examples of precognition and work out what is really happening instead of the default position of negativity and scepticism practiced by most of the paranormal and para-psychological academics out there.

Premweb Reader Sees Earthquake.

I was contacted on the 15th May 2009, by Nicole from St Catherines, Ontario, Canada, telling me she had two dreams which she felt could be premonitions. How we differentiate from normal dreams is all about how they feel at the time and how the images play out. It is a tacit feeling we have, that is hard to explain. Nicola regarded two recent dreams as precognitive. She recorded the following dream:

"On May 5th I had a dream. In my dream I walked out of my house and across the street. I bent over and put my hands on the curb. I was able to lift up the ground and see underneath. I was holding the ground above my head with my right hand. I could see cement plates covering the entire underground. In front of me were necklaces that I bought in Mexico. A voice called out "The plates are moving". Immediately they quickly began to shift towards the left. I quickly scrambled to pick up the necklaces before they moved away from me. With the necklaces in my hand I lowered the ground and walked away. I interpret this to mean a possible earthquake in Mexico."

On May 22nd 2009, at 2.24 pm local time an earthquake measuring 5.7 hit Mexico, sending people fleeing into the streets. No-one was hurt. So what makes Nicola's dream precognitive rather than just a coincidence? Well the symbolism shows that Nicola has the the ability (in her dream) to lift up the pavement (or the earths crust) and witness what is going on underneath, something that no-one else can do. This symbolises for me a gift of precognition that not many people possess. Secondly the dream was closely followed by the event, which is always good. Unless the dream has very specific details relating to the event I feel that proximity in time is another factor that points to precognition rather than a lucky guess.

However, coincidence should never be dismissed when analysing these things. Earthquakes are tricky because there are a lot of them, all year round. Most go unnoticed because they are magnitude 4 or lower. But there are 1-2 magnitude 5.0 or higher earthquakes per year in Mexico. That means Nicola's dream could have happened in May, and the earthquake in November and we still would have been tempted to call it precognition. This is where event size and connection to the dreamer can play a role. If the earthquake was massive and caused wide spread death and carnage then this dream would have a more chilling side to it, adding perhaps distress of the dreamer who would then have to witness suffering, knowing she saw what was coming before the event took place and could do nothing to warn anyone. Also, if Nicola lived in Mexico or had family out there and they had been effected then this would have fit into a theory I've had for some time, that most precognition is born out of an emotional connection to the event. I.e. it affects you in some way.

This month alone (May) there have already been over 200 recorded earthquakes, ranging in magnitude from 2.5 to 5.8 all over the world. So predicting them relies on having specific details. For instance what did the necklace represent in Nicola's dream? I think it clearly points her towards Mexico as a site for the earthquake. So this symbolism was used a sign post in the dream. Without it there would not have been a site named or identified in the dream.

In summary there are many factors which separate out precognition from coincidence, including your own biases. If you are a born sceptic who has never had a precognitive dream then you would vote Nicola's dream a miss. If you are a believer who has experienced precognition yourself you'd probably vote it a hit. Personally I am still seeking the truth, although I feel I will always side with the believers.
